Some Colorful Thoughts

Anytime a photographer intends to make a color image, it’s important to consider the color values before actually pressing the shutter. Color composition can dramatically change the feeling or atmosphere of an image, so careful consideration about what to include and what not to include must be made. Unwanted splashes of color can often make or ruin an image, so its best to make these decisions when recomposing is an option.
Some common uses of color include bright vivid colors to provoke excitement, neutral colors to induce calmness, and contrasting colors to arouse imagination. Here are some examples:

Its odd but images with fewer colors usually appear more colorful than images with many competing colors.
