Casting Call

Adventure Photography cannot happen without athletes. And while many of my friends are not only proficient but outstanding at the multitude of sports – think skiing, biking, running, and climbing – that take place in Jasper National Park, I am constantly searching for new people to photograph.

Just What Am I Looking For?

I need enthusiastic people willing to work with me to make a photograph. I definitely do not need professional athletes; however, my subjects must look natural and comfortable at what they’re doing. That means wearing appropriate attire, using suitable techniques, and, generally, sporting big lumberjack beard, too (kidding).

Diversity counts too. I don’t just want images of 22-30 year-old guys sending it. I love to photography youth, women, and seniors, too.

Just What Do You Get?

I don’t expect you to work for free but, silly catch 22 that it is, I simply cannot afford to offer monetary reward.

What I can offer is professional quality photographs in both digital and print form. Instead of living with only snapshots of your favorite activities, why not have a few keepsakes that really show off your best efforts?

If your not interested in that, how about a free family portrait, engagement shoot, or trite Christmas card?

Just When Do I Want You?

I generally like to replace sleep in with copious amounts of dark roast coffee. Occasionally I’ll spring for an espresso but I rarely sleep past sunrise. I’ll expect you to do the same… Don’t worry, I’m only joking.

Honestly, I shoot at all hours of the day. Depending on the image concept, it might mean a sunrise dash to the river, an afternoon in the alpine, or a late night at the lake. Basically, I’m flexible and we’ll make a plan that not only works for both our schedules but also suits the photograph.
