In 2011, I had the opportunity to attend the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I participated in Alison Morley’s class, Creative Editing and the Visual Story. It was a challenging week that opened my eyes to the editor’s perspective

Our first assignment was to photograph a small business. I took the theme to heart, choosing to document the iconic shoeshine business in Buenos Aires’ Paseo Obelisco.
